New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a big setback before the Delhi Assembly elections. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday. He has informed about this by writing a letter to Arvind Kejriwal.
Along with this, he has also written a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to leave the post of minister. Wrote in the letter to Kejriwal that the AAP government wastes time in fighting the central government. Let us tell you that in the last few months, 2 ministers and 2 MLAs of Delhi government have left the party.
In his resignation letter, he has raised the issue of cleaning Yamuna and construction of Sheeshmahal. Gehlot wrote in the letter that we had promised to clean Yamuna in the last elections, but the cleaning was not done, we could not fulfill our promise. Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has resigned from his ministerial post as well as from the primary membership of AAP. Gehlot has alleged in the letter that the honest politics due to which he came to Aam Aadmi Party is no longer happening.
He (Kailash Gehlot) has also made many allegations by calling the official residence of party convenor and former CM Arvind Kejriwal as ‘Sheeshmahal’. Let us tell you that Kailash Gehlot had joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2015. He became a cabinet minister in 2017. Kailash Gehlot, a lawyer by profession, fought many big cases in the Supreme Court and High Court for 10 years before joining politics.
