Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has responded to this regarding India-Pak cricket matches as part of his visit to Rajasthan. He made it clear that there will be no bilateral matches between the India-Pakistan teams until Pakistan curbs cross-border terrorism. He explained that BCCI has already taken a decision on this. It has been revealed that there will be no sports activities besides cricket until Pakistan’s system changes.
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla also expressed the same opinion on this matter. It has been clarified that there will be no bilateral series with Pakistan cricket team. It has been revealed that India has a clear policy on this matter. Rajiv Shukla demanded strict action against terrorists.
Pakistani terrorists are often carrying out attacks on Indian borders. Recently, there was a shootout between terrorists and security forces in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonak, DSP Humayun Bhatt along with another jawan were martyred. Indian forces launched an operation on the information that two terrorists were holed up in this area. They are trying to defeat the terrorists.
