It took 34 years for the Kaulitz twins to finally get to the most famous party in Munich, the Oktoberfest. Last week Tom and Bill (34) celebrated at the Oktoberfest for the first time.
They danced on the benches, enjoyed snack boards with salmon and of course treated themselves to lots of beer. Bill Kaulitz to BILD: “My first visit to the Oktoberfest. Just very good.”
A few days later, the two of them are still pretty excited – and not just about the beer. In her podcast “ Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood” they tell how the musicians staggered across the Oktoberfest drunk.

After the beers we went straight from the beetle tent to the rides. It seems like a miracle that the two didn’t vomit. Bill: “Looking back now, I really have to say: I was already so drunk when we drove that. I’m only now realizing how drunk I was. I remember a little about the ghost train, it had a strange wheel that you ride through and it makes you incredibly sick.”
During their tour of the Oktoberfest, the two were offered a shot at pretty much every booth. With consequences. “In the ghost train, Tom, I was so full of snot,” admits Bill.
Bottom up! Bill and Tom clink glasses with friends in the beetle tent
Instead of beer, Bill had to drink a schnapps every now and then
But they still took part in pretty much everything: the Freefall Tower, the ghost train, the Wild Mouse and the Devil’s Wheel. No waiting time! Bill: “Of course we didn’t have to queue. Of course we got in everywhere.”
However, Tom interjects: “What does natural mean here? I got in line, you’re right in front: ‘Hello, I’m a celebrity’.”
Bill admits openly and honestly: “Yes, I said ‘Hello, I’m a celebrity, I’d like to come forward’. Then I went straight in and thought: Uh, doesn’t that create a negative atmosphere? But no, people were still happy and said: You’re welcome to come forward.”
But no one was really upset about her celebrity status. On the contrary. Bill was even allowed to be the owner of the Wild mouse in the trailer. “I had to go to the toilet really badly. Then she let me go to the back and I saw how they live. Really nice.”
