Bill Cosby Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing A Minor In 1975

The trial against Bill Cosby came to an end this Tuesday, June 21. The Los Angeles County jury delivered the verdict in favor of Judy Huth, who accused the actor of sexual abuse when he was a teenager. Currently, she is 64 years old. The court also awarded the victim the amount of $500,000.

Jurors concluded that the comedian intentionally caused harmful sexual contact against Huth because he reasonably believed that she was under the age of 18 and that his conduct was out of an abnormal sexual interest in a minor.

In addition, Cosby’s lawyers claimed that the artist met the young woman and her friend when she was in high school, during a film in Southern California, in 1975. Actor denies sexual assault against teenager

The judge’s decision comes after his criminal sexual assault conviction in Pennsylvania was overturned and he was released. However, Huth’s complaint was one of the latest legal requests against the 84-year-old actor after his insurer settled other cases.
