Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Binarayi Vijayan has said that he has assets worth Rs 54 lakh.
In Kerala, there is a Left Democratic Front government led by Chief Minister Binarayi Vijayan. Here, the election for the 140 assembly constituencies is scheduled to take place in a single phase on April 6.
Binarayi Vijayan, who is contesting from Dharmadam constituency, recently filed his nomination papers. Of this, 51.95 lakh rupees worth of real estate, two lands and a house.
He has Rs 78,000 in his bank account and Rs 2.05 lakh in movable assets. In total, he has assets worth Rs 54 lakh, he said.
Cong., Senior leader, Ramesh Sennithala, has filed his nomination in Haripat constituency. He has assets worth Rs 1.23 crore.
Oommen Chandy, a senior leader and former Kerala Chief Minister, is contesting from Puthuppally constituency. He has immovable assets worth Rs 3.41 crore and movable assets worth Rs 2.99 lakh, he said in the nomination.
