New Delhi: The Union Environment Ministry has said that it is suffering from birds polluting the yard. Birds flock to the courtyard of the Indira Paryavaran Bhavan in New Delhi, the headquarters. Birds provide work for pedestrians and parked vehicles. The Ministry of Environment has now released an interesting advertisement to finally find a solution to this.
The advertisement invites the best solutions to prevent bird droppings from polluting the yard. The notice, which was shared on the ministry’s website, said a prize of Rs 1 lakh would be given to individuals or organizations who suggest good ideas. Eco-friendly, technically sound, practical, cost-effective and efficient methods should be suggested.

The Union Ministry of Environment has constituted a special committee to select the best from the ideas received. The committee will shortlist three best solutions. The prize money will be given to the best solution selected from this. Located in the heart of New Delhi, the Ministry of Environment building has been certified as a green building and has been awarded for its use of energy efficient systems.
