Firozabad. Unknown assailants shot a BJP leader and councillor who had come out for a morning walk on Tuesday morning in the Linepar police station area of Firozabad. After which the seriously injured BJP councillor has been referred from the government trauma centre to Agra for treatment. As soon as the police got information about this incident, they reached the spot and started investigating.
Aleem Bhola, a resident of Labor Colony under Linepar police station area of the district, is a councilor from ward number 48 of Firozabad Municipal Corporation and is also a local BJP leader. He had gone out for a morning walk on Tuesday morning. As soon as he reached the over bridge in Labor Colony, unknown attackers opened fire on him. The BJP councilor was seriously injured due to the bullet injury, while after this incident there was a stir in the area and a large number of people gathered at the spot.
After carrying out the incident, the attackers fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police along with the family members reached the spot. The police immediately sent the injured councilor to the emergency of the government trauma center for treatment. Where the doctor referred the BJP councilor to Agra after first aid as his condition was critical.
Giving information, Avid, son of the injured BJP councilor, said that his father was attacked while going for a morning walk. He was shot twice. One hit his waist and the other his leg. The family members have alleged that the attack was due to an old rivalry. ASP City Ravi Shankar Prasad and the police station have inspected the crime scene and questioned the family members. Meanwhile, on getting information about the incident, BJP leaders also reached the hospital.
