Sukma (Chhattisgarh): Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the BJP of fooling people in the name of religion and caste.
Chhattisgarh will hold assembly elections on 7th and 17th. In view of this, Mallikarjun Kharge addressed the election campaign rally held in Sukma Nagar of the state. Description of his speech: “BJP has made it a habit to make fun of Congress party. Congress party has made countless sacrifices for the country. Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi have sacrificed themselves for the country. Is there anyone like that in BJP?”
BJP is doing vote politics. BJP is fooling people in the name of religion and caste. BJP is trying to deceive by saying that we have made a woman from a tribal community as the President. They need to know something. Congress was the party that gave the country its first woman prime minister. Congress is the party that has uplifted the backward people of the country.
We have won the elections. More importantly we this nation; democracy; We have been protecting the community. But the BJP keeps questioning what the Congress has done. In the absence of schools, banks and jobs in the country, Congress is the party that provided them all. We are building the country. We are the founders of schools, public sector institutions, banks and factories. Has Modi school built anything in Chhattisgarh?
Modi speaks as if the country got independence only in 2014. We have done a lot of work for the country. That’s why we are asking for a rightful vote. Congress is the party that empowered the poor. Congress is the party that created equality. Narendra Modi won by promising to recover the money stashed abroad and give it to the people. But did it? So, is it wrong to call him a liar?
PM Modi does not want the poor to be empowered. But he says he is a poor man and the opposition doesn’t want him to be the prime minister. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Begal belongs to a backward community. But is he ever as blameworthy as PM Modi?” Mallikarjun Kharge addressed.
