New Delhi. After wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined the Congress, political rhetoric has started. Former WFI president and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh attacked. Now Congress has retaliated on Brij Bhushan Singh’s statement.
Actually Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had said that the protest against wrestlers was inspired by the politics of Congress. Congress leader Pawan Khera said, whoever does wrong, BJP stands with them and Brij Bhushan is with BJP. Congress fights for those who are subjected to injustice and raises their voice and will do so in future too and that is why they are also like Congress.
Pawan Khera said, six players had filed an FIR against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Have you seen under which sections he was charged? How dare he speak like this? We are proud that we stood with our daughters, are standing and will continue to stand with them.
On the other hand, on Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat joining Congress, Indian Wrestling Association President Sanjay Singh said that this was bound to happen. The whole country knows that this entire protest was happening at the behest of Congress and its mastermind was the Deepender Hooda family. The foundation of this protest was laid the day our Prime Minister praised Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and said that wrestling is in safe hands.
