Lucknow: BJP plans to telecast Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program in 100 mosques and dargahs in Uttar Pradesh in April.
Prime Minister’s Man Ki Baat (Voice of the Mind) radio program is broadcast on the last Sunday of every month. Its 100th show will be broadcast on 30th. In order to highlight this program, the state BJP is planning to broadcast in 100 places related to Muslims like mosques and dargahs in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to ‘The Hindu’, Uttar Pradesh BJP Minority Wing President Kunwar Basit Ali said, “We are planning to make the Prime Minister’s 100th Man Ki Baat program a historic one. We are planning to telecast the Prime Minister’s 100th Man Ki Baat speech at 100 places associated with the Islamic community. The 100th Man Ki Baat program will be broadcast in 50-60 mosques, 30-35 dargahs, Islamic scholars and Majlis, the assembly of Muslim people.
In addition, an Urdu translation book of the 12 Mann Ki Baat programs delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2022 will be published. Through this we are going to bring the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people. These books will be given to Islamic religious scholars. The ceremony will be held in Lucknow on the 30th,” he said.
Uttar Pradesh has approximately 19 percent Muslim voters. Muslims have a significant presence in the 30 parliamentary constituencies here. In addition, Muslims have the power to decide the results in 15-20 parliamentary constituencies. In this case, it is noteworthy that the BJP minority wing of the state is taking this step in view of the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections to increase support for the BJP among Muslims.
