Norca Roots and Indianbank are jointly organizing a loan camp at Tiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district on January 24 for non-resident entrepreneurs. The loan camp will be held from 10 am at the Anand Convention Center in Kavumbhaga. The camp is under the Norca Department Project for Returned Emigration or NDPREM (NDPREM) scheme implemented by the state government through Norca Routes for the rehabilitation of expatriates who have returned to the country. Non-resident Keralites who have worked abroad for more than two years and settled in the country can apply for starting new self-employment ventures and expanding existing ones.
Interested expatriates can register and participate in the NDPREM project through the website link www.norkaroots.org/ndprem. Those who register in advance will get priority. Spot registration will also be required at the venue. Expatriate associations, expatriate companies and societies are also eligible to apply. A copy of passport, two passport size photographs, Aadhaar, Pancard, Election ID, Ration Card, Scheme-Explanation and other documents required for the Scheme should be attended. Loans are available for business projects ranging from one lakh rupees to thirty lakh rupees.
