Booster dose increases in Kuwait; 37,000 people were vaccinated a day

Kuwait: The number of people coming to pick up Booster Jose is increasing in Kuwait due to the spread of Omikron. The Cabinet decision on the restrictions on those who do not take the booster dose was released yesterday. With this, 37,000 people came to various vaccination centers last day alone to take booster dose.

Vaccine distribution has also been introduced at two new centers. Sheikh Jabir Center and Jaleeb Youth Center will also provide booster facilities in the coming days. It is estimated that the number of people taking booster doses will increase in the coming days. The third dose can be taken at Mishrif International Exhibition Center and Jabir Bridge Center without making an appointment.

In addition, booster doses can be booked by making an appointment through the Ministry of Health’s website at 51 primary health centers in Kuwait. Indigenous people who do not take the booster dose will not be allowed to travel abroad from Kuwait to any other country.

Kuwait has taken such a decision in the context of the spread of Omikron in various countries. In Kuwait, 13 people were infected with Omikron. All of them are from European countries. All of them are living in the Institutional Quarantine. Exited and not in contact with anyone. Kuwaiti authorities say they are on high alert to prevent the spread of Omikron.
