The artist Lotfi Bouchnak gave up the title of Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations, denouncing the “terrible silence” in the face of what is happening “against innocent civilians in Palestine.”
The Tunisian artist announced, in a post he shared with his followers on his personal Facebook account, that he was relinquishing the position of Goodwill Ambassador, as his position came after the bombing of a hospital in Gaza last Tuesday.
The stars and celebrities of the artistic community in the Arab world announced their condemnation of the Israeli massacre, as a group of Moroccan artists condemned the events of the Al-Aqsa Flood, expressing their sadness at what the Palestinian people are going through during the current period.
Lotfi Bouchnak is scheduled to participate in an artistic concert in solidarity with the Palestinian people, on Friday at the Opera Theater in the Tunisian capital, the proceeds of which will be allocated to help the Palestinians in the ordeal they are going through.
The concert will feature the participation of a number of Tunisian artists, along with the Jordanian artist Makadi Nahhas, and its profits will be donated to the Tunisian Red Crescent, which provides aid to the besieged Gaza Strip..
