Brazil Rains: Floods in Brazil .. 31 dead

Heavy rains in Brazil. The floods are raging. (Brazil Rains) With it, the ditches and bends are overflowing. There were 31 deaths due to floods. Landslides break out in the state of Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil. 29 people were killed in the incident. Also in Alagos‌ on Friday two people were washed away in the floods. More than a thousand people have been displaced by floods in Pernambuco. They all had to leave their homes.

Nearly 32,000 families in the state have been stranded in flood-affected areas. Residents who lost their homes and nests in the floods were evacuated by local authorities to school buildings in the city of Recife. The state government said 33 municipalities had declared a state of emergency due to the impact of heavy rains in Alagos. President Zaire Bolsonaro said on Twitter that he would send teams of armed forces to help those trapped in the floods.

At least 31 people have been killed in a stampede in southern Nigeria. Hundreds of people lined up near the church gate for food as part of a program at the church. However, some of them got impatient and demolished the gate at once and entered inside. Dozens of people lost their lives in this sequence. Most of the dead were children.
