Barcelona officially announced today, Wednesday, that it has signed Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, bringing him back from retirement.
Barcelona decided to include a “free substitute” (a player not associated with any team) to replace its goalkeeper Ter Stegen, who suffered a serious knee injury that will keep him out until the end of the season.
