British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has announced that Britain and Ukraine’s other allies are running out of weapons they can supply to Kiev.
According to the Russian “TASS” news agency, Ben Wallace said in an interview with the “Washington Post” newspaper, published today, Friday: “We have all seen the sobering truth, which is that (weapons) are running out for everyone.”
According to him, Ukraine’s allies are forced to buy more weapons for Kiev, because they cannot provide them from their national stocks.
At the same time, the British minister stressed that the West still intends to provide weapons and financing to Ukraine, without pushing Kiev to conduct negotiations with Moscow.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with Bloomberg that the alliance countries need to increase weapons production, and their stocks have been depleted due to supplies to Kiev.
