Yesterday, the competitions of the Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Festival continued on its second day in the gymnasium at the Emirates University in Al Ain, where its fights were allocated to the category of buds and cubs, who showed a high performance on the rug that caught the attention of the audience.
The Junior Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Festival Championships are of great importance to the federation, which places interest in young talents and honing their skills at the top of its priorities, to ensure the sustainability of excellence and the continuation of continental and global achievements.
The fights were attended by the head of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Muhammad Al Dhaheri, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Youssef Al-Batran, Secretary General of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Fahd Ali Al Shamsi, Associate Vice President for Scientific Research Affairs at the UAE University, Dr. Ahmed Murad, and a number of Union officials, clubs and participating academies.
The Sharjah Club for Self-Defense Sports came in first place, and the runner-up position went to the First Abu Dhabi Bank Jiu-Jitsu Academy, while Al Ain Club came in third place.
