Bumrah started the first innings after India’s all-out and hit England in consecutive overs. Jasprit Bumrah, who took openers Alex (6), Jack (9) and Ollie Pope (10) to the pavilion early on, pushed the team into self-defense. However, Joe Root (31: 4×4 in 67 balls) tried to support the England team which was 44/3. But.. Mohammad Siraj got him out.. Jasprit Bumrah’s batting was the highlight of today’s game. Although Rishabh Pant (146) and Ravindra Jadeja (104) registered centuries in the Indian team on Friday, Bumrah scored an unbeaten 31 runs in just 16 balls with the help of 4×4 and 2×6. Fast bowler Stuart Broad gave away 35 runs in a single over due to Bumrah’s blow. In this sequence, he stood in the worst record as the bowler who scored the most runs in a single over in the history of Test cricket. Among the England bowlers, James Anderson took 5 wickets.
