Sports Desk. The first day’s play of the first Test match being played between India and Australia has ended. On the first day, the batsmen of both the teams could not do much and failed miserably. In this match being played at Optus Stadium in Perth, the performance of fast bowlers has been seen so far.
First the Australian bowlers wreaked havoc and then the Indian bowlers were also not left behind. The Australian bowlers bundled out the Indian team for 150 runs in the first two sessions. Nitish Kumar Reddy, playing his first Test match for India, scored the highest score of 41 runs. Rishabh Pant contributed 37 runs and KL Rahul contributed 26 runs. By the end of the day’s play, India had also put Australia under pressure.

Harshit Rana, playing the first test match, got one wicket. Jose Hazlewood took four wickets for Australia. Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh and Pat Cummins got two wickets each.
