During the Kovid era, the film industry was in crisis, but a good amount of money was spent on the daily shooting of the film. The construction cost is estimated at Rs 20 lakh a day. Antony Perumbavoor made this clear in an interview.
Burrows is reportedly preparing to spend more than Rs 100 crore. The film, which is being shot in 3D, is expected to cost less than Maraikar. Filming for the film began in March but was halted due to Kovid expansion.
The film industry in general is in crisis during the lockdown. Theater owners in the country alone have lost more than Rs 1,100 crore. The main losses are due to non-operation of cinemas and low number of new movies
