New Delhi | Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that Apple has set quarterly records in Brazil and India as well as another revenue record for the Indian market. After posting its quarterly results, Cook said on Thursday that looking at the business in India, we set a quarterly revenue record and grew very strong double digits year-over-year and so we feel very good about that. .

Apple is all set to launch its first ‘brick-and-mortar store’ in Mumbai soon.
On India post-pandemic, Cook said, “We’ve done really well through Covid in India and I expect even more now.”
“That’s why we’re investing there by bringing retail, online stores and putting a lot of energy there,” Cook said. I am very optimistic about India.
Apple’s CEO said, we are putting a lot of emphasis on the market. Trade-ins are being worked on to make products more affordable and give people more options to buy.
“Every major product category and geographic segment is delivering strong results, with strong double-digit growth in emerging markets such as Brazil, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam,” said Luca Maestri, Apple’s chief financial officer.
Apple sold 2 million iPhones in India in the 2022 holiday quarter (Q4), registering an 18 percent (quarter-on-quarter) growth for its flagship device.
iPhone’s India market share to reach 5.5 percent by 2022 with 11 percent growth (year-on-year).
According to the latest CMR data, the iPhone 14 series registered 59 percent market share in Q4 2022, followed by the iPhone 13 series at 32 percent.(IANS)
