The supplier of the panettone that Christian Cueva sold reported him for having a debt of more than 58,000 soles. “The development was done and it even has Cueva’s signature,” said businessman Julio Rodríguez.
According to the company representative, the 2021 Christmas campaign was a success, as it managed to sell more than 25,000 panettones and obtain a profit of more than 200,000 soles.
“By 2023, sales were 60% lower, due to the context that Christian Cueva was going through. We talked about the issue and he told me that his brother was not having a good time. He told me: ‘Julio, my brother is not “He’s having a good time. I don’t risk doing much, and I also advised him not to do so much,” he added. In that sense, he revealed the conversation he had with Jorge Cueva, the footballer’s brother.
Finally, Rodríguez commented that the distributor has already benefited from 80% or 90% of the payment; However, they still owe him. “I don’t know why they don’t pay me, I don’t have a response from them. They don’t answer WhatsApp or calls,” he mentioned.
