Police have solved the mystery of the murder of a woman in Taramatipet, Abdullapur zone. The two youths, who were earlier suspected, were found guilty and arrested on Wednesday. According to the police report, a woman named Andalu (58) from Taramatipet was brutally murdered at home on Monday night. When the incident came to light on Tuesday morning, her son Mallesh lodged a complaint with the Paddambarpet police. The mystery of the case was solved when the police registered a case and arrested and interrogated Devaraya Suresh and Budige Srikanth from the same village. The two, who were intoxicated, had sexual relations with her and planned to steal the gold and silver jewelery on her neck. Suresh came to them calling her Aunty. At the same time, when Andalu’s husband Idayya came home, Suresh and Srikanth took him to a nearby gourd where he drank and drank there. While taking the bike to the nearby Bacharam area, Edayya, who was suspicious of their behavior, got off the bike saying that he was urinating.
