Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Telangana, met the leaders of farmers’ unions at Begumpet Airport. To this extent, many issues were discussed in this meeting
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called upon farmers to focus on cow-based agriculture. Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Telangana, met representatives of farmers’ associations in Hyderabad. Discussed with them about the agricultural practices and problems of farmers in the state. Speaking on this occasion, he suggested that good results will be obtained if agriculture is done on the basis of cows.
‘I am also a farmer… farming in 150 acres. I have 21 cows. Among them is a cow of 12 generations. Farming with Go related items can yield better results. Farmers should raise awareness about this,’ said Amit Shah. On this occasion, the farmers say that Amit Shah commented that while they wanted to change the Electricity Act… the state government itself should be changed. But farmers say that Amit Shah’s comments shocked them. They say that if they go to Amit Shah to tell their problems… they do not expect that he will speak like that. Although they are a part of the people, they are of the opinion that ultimately what the majority of the people decide will happen.
