Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked his colleague and Parliamentary Committee leader Upendra Kushwaha to quit the United Janata Dal. He said this following reports that Upendra Kushwaha was in touch with the BJP.
Responding to this, Upendra Kushwaha has said that he will not leave the party without getting his share. In a post posted on his Twitter page in Hindi, he questioned, “Bhai Saheb, you have said four things… If the younger brothers leave the house after hearing the words of the elder brothers, all the elder brothers will usurp the property of the ancestors. How can I leave the party without getting my share of the total property?”
In this situation, Umesh Kushwaha, the leader of the United Janata Dal Party, has severely attacked Upendra Kushwaha. He said, “Upendra Kushwaha should be ashamed of his behaviour. Nitish Kumar has given him a lot. Yet he is trying to break the party. Upendra Kushwaha has not yet submitted his membership form.”
Nitish Ji changed him from Upendra Singh to Upendra Kushwaha. He sent him to Parliament and Council. If he has any self-respect he should leave the party immediately. Those who want to deceive Nitish Kumar should be careful,” he said.
Earlier, Upendra Kushwaha on Sunday denied the allegations leveled against him of being in touch with the BJP.
Regarding the issue, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is on a peace pilgrimage in Gaya, said, “Please ask Upendra Kushwaha to talk to me. He has already left the party. I don’t know what he wants. I am not in Patna so I don’t know what is happening there. He is unwell at the moment.” I know there is. I will meet him and talk about it,” said Nitish Kumar.
