Inauguration of Gig/Platform Workers Cooperative Society on 10
The Kerala States Shops and Federal Co-operative Society, formed for the welfare of gig platform workers and workers working in shops and commercial establishments in Kerala, will be inaugurated on May 10 by Co-operative Registration Department Minister VN Vasavan. The cooperative group was formed under the third 100 day work program of the state government. Transport Minister Antony Raju will preside over the function which will be held at Jawahar Cooperative Bhavan auditorium at 12 noon. Membership distribution will be inaugurated by Labor Department Minister V Sivankutty.
