The World Tour organized by Coca-Cola for the original Cup of the World Cup kicked off today, and its first stop was marked by a major event in Dubai, where two World Cup winners, legendary Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas, and former Brazil star Kaka met at the launch ceremony of the Cup tour that will tour 51 Countries around the world, including the 32 countries that qualified for the World Wedding (World Cup 2022), which will be hosted by Qatar and start next November. The celebration was attended by the Secretary-General of the UAE Football Association, Mohammed bin Hazam Al Dhaheri, and the captain of the UAE women’s football team, Nouf Al-Enezi.
The celebration was held at the “Coca-Cola Arena” in Dubai, and was also attended by the stars of the UAE national team in the World Cup (Italy 90), Abdul Rahman Mohammed, Khaled Ismail and Abdul Qader Hassan.
It is expected that the cup’s journey will continue to visit all the 211 member associations until 2030, and this is the first year in which the cup’s journey begins to visit the 32 countries qualified for the World Cup.
