The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has brought the suspect in the case of illegal smuggling of gold bars from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to India. Mohabat Ali was brought back with the help of Interpol.

The CBI said in a statement that the NIA and the Interpol Riyadh office had facilitated the transfer of the accused to India through the Global Operations Centre. NIA has also registered a case against Mohabat Ali.
