The CBI had issued a notice to Kejriwal on April 14 and summoned him for questioning on April 16.
CBI will interrogate Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today in the Delhi liquor policy case. The agency issued a notice to him on April 14 and called him for questioning at 11 am on April 16. Along with Kejriwal, all the ministers of the Delhi government, AAP MP and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will also go to the CBI office.
On the other hand, keeping in mind the security of Kejriwal, the Delhi Police has decided to deploy around 1000 security personnel around the CBI office. Apart from this, the Central Security Force will also be deployed. At the same time, a special session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly has been called on Monday i.e. 17 April.
Kejriwal held a press conference on Saturday after receiving the CBI summons. He said that the BJP is shouting that a scam took place. Leaving all the work, the agencies are engaged in its investigation, but they are not getting anything.
Kejriwal said – there is a conspiracy to trap me forcibly
Delhi CM targets CBI, ED, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, ‘These people arrested two ministers of our government. Their thinking was to arrest number two (Manish Sisodia) and number three (Satyendar Jain) so that they could strangle me. This is a conspiracy to trap forcibly. I want to say that Modiji if I am dishonest then no one is honest in the world.
On this statement of Kejriwal, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has taunted him. The Law Minister wrote on Twitter – You forgot to tell that if the court convicts you, you will file a case against the court as well. Have faith in the judicial system of the country and let the law take its course.
Manish Sisodia was arrested on 26 February
Please inform that former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is in ED’s custody in this case. He was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after 8 hours of questioning. After 7 days CBI remand, the court on March 6 sent Sisodia to Tihar Jail in judicial custody till March 20 (14 days).

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the Liquor Policy Case on February 26 after 8 hours of questioning, he is currently in Tihar Jail.
Here ED had questioned the former Deputy CM of Delhi in the money laundering case related to liquor policy case, the agency had arrested Sisodia from jail itself. Presently Manish Sisodia is in ED custody. In the last hearing, the court had extended Sisodia’s custody till April 17. The court will hear Sisodia’s bail on April 18.
