Later.. on application that the verdict issued by the Supreme Court is applicable to this case.. High Court CJ Ujjal Bhuyan took up the investigation on Friday. Speaking on behalf of the petitioner, senior advocate K. Vivek Reddy said that according to the recent verdict of the Supreme Court, there should be a demand to register a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Here there are no such allegations against YV Subbareddy. He said that there was no giving or receiving of offerings. If Indu Shyamprasad Reddy is going out due to delay in the project, Subbar Reddy has bought that share. It was brought to the court’s attention that not a single witness had given evidence against Subbareddy.
Special advocate M. Nagendran presented arguments on behalf of CBI. Vasantha projects are not eligible to get Indu project. It was argued that Subbareddy’s share was part of the conspiracy. He said that allotting the villas to his family members in the project built in partnership with the Housing Board would be beneficial. CBI revealed that after Subbareddy became a partner in these projects, the Housing Board allocated another 15 acres in Kukatpally for the Indu project. The Chief Justice of the High Court, after hearing the arguments of both, adjourned the verdict.
