According to the CBI, on the night of the incident, someone called the main accused, Kolkata Police civic volunteer Sanjay Roy, and called him to the hospital.
CBI sources said that after examining the call list of Sanjay’s mobile phone, it was found that Sanjay Roy had talked to someone on mobile on the night and morning of the incident. CBI is trying to find out that person. Today again ‘Reclaim the Night’ campaign is going to be held in protest against Kolkata Doctor Murder Case. This time it has been called by junior doctors, who have been on strike for more than a month and have been sitting on a dharna in front of Swasthya Bhavan for five days.
He says that more than a month has passed since the incident but no concrete steps have been taken by the state government in the Kolkata Doctor Murder Case, due to which he is very disappointed. It should be noted that exactly a month ago on 14 August, the ‘Reclaim the Night’ campaign was held for the first time. Today it is going to be held for the fourth time.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached Swasthya Bhawan to meet the protesting doctors. During this, the doctors raised slogans of ‘We want justice’. Mamata Banerjee said that she has come here to meet the doctors as Didi. Mamata Banerjee said that she waited for two hours to meet the junior doctors, but they did not come to the meeting place. After this, she said that she is ready to resign from the post of Chief Minister of West Bengal.
