On Thursday, the Central Home Department made key proposals on the division of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi. On April 26, the Union Home Department met with the officials of the two states. The details of this meeting have been sent to the officials of both the states. Earlier, Andhra Pradesh had made three proposals on the division of lands and buildings. In this order, Telangana has recently put another proposal on the division of assets. Telangana has proposed to give vacant land next to Godavari, Sabari blocks and nursing hostel. It said that Telangana should take 7.64 acres of Pataudi House and Andhra Pradesh should take the remaining 12.09 acres of vacant land. The center suggested that AP and Telangana should share these properties in the ratio of 58:42. Telangana said that if AP gets additional land, it should replace it from AP.

Recently, with the proposal of the central government, AP and Telangana will get a share according to the population ratio of the two states. The AP government will consider the three options and take a decision in the next meeting that the central proposal is viable.
