The CEO has shared a picture of the company’s employees crying on social media after dismissing them. It sounds interesting to hear, but it is a harsh criticism against the CEO. Braden Vellake, the CEO of the US company, shared the picture of the employee crying after being fired through his LinkedIn account.
I take responsibility for this in a post that starts with the weakest thing I have to say. He also says that the layoffs are part of a move to stop selling core services and focus on new services. The financial crisis itself is the villain here.
“I thought for a long time whether to say this here or not. We had to let go of some of our workers. The main reason was financial problems. There were some other reasons too. I took this decision myself. I was a businessman who did not think about who was affected and hurt during the progress of making it. I wish I was.

But not me. What I’m trying to say is that not all CEOs are hard-hearted. It is unprofessional to say that I love my workers. But it is true. I think they know that too. I know each one- their stories, each one that makes them laugh, each one that makes them cry.
Their families, friends and everything. I have selected each worker only after making sure that they are good people. It can’t get any worse,” Braden wrote on LinkedIn.
Anyway, after the post went viral on Twitter, many people have criticized it. Many people ask what is the point of crying like this after dismissing the employees. Some have also posted in favor of Braden.
