Wydad Athletic Club succeeded in qualifying for the group stage of the African Champions League, after defeating Hafia Conakry of Guinea with three unanswered goals, during the match held this evening, Saturday, at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The Wydad battalion opened the score early, in the 8th minute, through Yahya Attiya Allah, and Libyan Hamdo Al-Huni then added another goal in the 24th minute.
At the beginning of the second half, Ayoub Al-Amoud increased the score in the 57th minute, in favor of Wydad Athletic Club.
The Guinean team tried to reduce the difference on more than one occasion, but did not succeed, due to Wydad’s good positioning.
Wydad Athletic Club will get to know its opponents in the group stage on October 6th in the draw that will be held in Johannesburg.
