Another tragic incident took place in Telugu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu’s House. Three people were killed in a stampede at a program organized by TDP in Guntur, before the Kandukur incident in Nellore district. The death of 11 TDP activists who attended the Chandrababu Sabha within a week is causing concern.
Talking about the Guntur incident, District SP Arif Hafeez revealed that the stampede took place in Chandrababu’s house because people were kept in the queue for a long time. The SP spoke to the media after inspecting the accident site along with the collector. The SP said that the stampede took place due to long standing in the queue. He said that the accident happened when the barricades broke. Even though they have given adequate provision, they have told the organizers to take precautions. However, the accident happened at the first counter. SP Arif said that the injured have been shifted to the hospital.
On Sunday, three women were killed and several women were seriously injured due to a stampede at TDP chief Chandrababu’s house in Guntur on Sunday. A large number of women and old people flocked to the meeting as the TDP leaders said that they would give moon gifts on New Year. In this order, as the people rushed in at once, there was a stampede and stampede. One woman died on the spot while two others died while receiving treatment in the hospital.
