Jaipur. Many people got burnt due to the blast in a chemical tanker on Jaipur-Ajmer highway. Police said that on Friday morning a truck filled with chemicals collided with another truck and caught fire. In this fire incident, more than 40 vehicles got burnt one by one. There were many vehicles from which people did not get a chance to get out.
Bhankrota Station House Officer (SHO) Manish Gupta said that the fire in the (chemical tanker) has engulfed many trucks. The number of trucks involved in this incident (Jaipur Fire) is not clear. Some burnt people have been taken to the hospital by ambulance. He told that this incident happened in front of the petrol pump.
According to the information, the accident took place near De Clothon on Friday (December 20) at around 5.45 am. The tanker was hit by a truck. Due to which there was a blast in the chemical tanker and the burning chemical spread to a distance of 200 to 300 meters. Wherever the chemical spilled, fire broke out. The fire also engulfed nearby vehicles, in which many passengers were traveling. This heart-wrenching accident is said to have happened due to negligence.
In the accident, a sleeper bus running behind the chemical tanker and a pipe factory located on the side of the highway were also burnt. The highway has been closed due to the explosion and fire. As soon as information about the blast was received, more than 30 ambulances and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Rescue is facing problems due to the spread of chemicals.
