Chess team participates in the Arab Championship

The national chess team is participating in the individual Arab championship for men and women, which Sudan will host from February 25 to March 6, in which 16 Arab countries will participate.

The national team is represented in the tournament by six male and female players, who are Ammar Muhammad Al-Sidrani, Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Taher, Rawda Issa Al-Serkal, Ahlam Rashid, Wafaa Darwish Al-Mamari, and Shaima Noman.

Sheikh Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Mualla, President of the Arab Chess Federation, affirmed his full support for organizing the tournament in Sudan, and providing all kinds of technical and logistical support to the Sudanese Chess Federation, to achieve the full success of the tournament, especially as it is an opportunity for Arab players to achieve titles and qualify for the World Cup.

The head of the technical staff of the Chess Federation, advisor to the technical committee in the International Federation, said that the Emirates Chess Federation adopts best practices in preparing players, male and female, to explore the future of this game, by discovering talents, enhancing their skills, refining their capabilities, and providing them with the required experience that contributes to designing supportive programs to build skillful generations. and advanced in this game.
