New Delhi: “In our country, a small number of children under the age of 14 are affected by the corona virus,” said Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan.
As the spread of the corona virus has accelerated again, the question was asked in the Lok Sabha yesterday whether the federal government has any plans to prevent children up to the age of 14 from being infected with the virus. In response, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said:
Children under the age of 14 are less likely to be infected with the corona virus. For children who are so affected, there are no symptoms. Therefore, no separate action plan has been drawn up to protect children from the virus. Necessary medical facilities have been upgraded to control the spread of corona virus.
Coronam centers are set up with all medical facilities, such as isolation beds, ICUs, units. The Central Department of Education has launched a program called ‘Psychiatry’ to help students, teachers and their families who are suffering from the corona virus. The guidelines are also published on the website of the Ministry of Health. Thus, he said.
