In the Pskov region, the activity of the children’s camp “Mirror” was suspended due to an outbreak of an intestinal infection. This was announced on June 28 by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
“38 cases of mild disease have been actively detected. For the purpose of dynamic monitoring of the state of health, 31 children were hospitalized. As of June 28, all children were discharged from the hospital. As a result of a laboratory examination of the sick, a norovirus etiology of the disease was established, ”the ministry’s press service said.
The final disinfection was carried out in the camp. Workers were examined for carriage of pathogens of intestinal infections.
Rospotrebnadzor also carried out laboratory control of inventory and equipment of the catering department, samples of water, food and disinfectants.
During the audit, violations of sanitary legislation were revealed. The perpetrators will be held accountable.
Earlier, on June 26, it was reported that ninth-graders were massively poisoned after graduation in one of the city restaurants in St. Petersburg. According to some reports, the holiday menu included fish, fruit drink and water. About 90 people took part in the event.
