Group 5 History
Founded on January 31, 1973 in Monsfú, Group 5 has left an indelible mark on Peruvian music. Known as the Gold Group of Peru, they have won numerous prizes and gold records for their productions. Their influence on the Northern Peruvian cumbia, especially in the 90s, has consolidated them as one of the most important orchestras in the country.
