In another incident, a young woman residing in Subedari has been sexually harassed for the past few days. Subedari approached the police station to tell the police about this and seek protection. However, Punnam Chander, who is the SI of that police station, pressured the victim to compromise without registering a case against the accused. When the victim complained to the higher authorities about this matter, they responded severely. Warangal Police Commissioner has issued an order suspending SI Punnam Chander.
