Abu Dhabi: The Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has said it will reopen closed cinemas in Abu Dhabi at 30% capacity. The committee tweeted that the theaters would be opened following all precautionary measures. The committee clarified that precautionary measures such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and regular hygiene should be followed. As a precautionary measure, cinemas were closed as the number of Kovid cases remained above 3,000. The cinemas have been closed since February 6. At the same time, the airline clarified that passengers from certain countries are not allowed to enter the UAE. Passengers traveling to South Africa or Nigeria within the last 14 days prior to departure for Dubai will not be able to enter Dubai. This does not apply to UAE nationals returning to the UAE and members of diplomatic missions. Emirates said members of the diplomatic mission traveling from Nigeria must produce a negative certificate of the Kovid PCR test from accredited laboratories in Nigeria.
