Tirumala: Tirupati Devasthanam has completely banned plastic items in Tirumala. Plastic water bottles are also banned.
Thus, instead of lattice covers, it distributes high-priced jute bags and biodegradable covers costing Rs.3 and 6 to the devotees. Due to this, devotees are complaining that the devasthanam has increased the price of Lattu and the cover price as well.
