“We will leave no stones unturned until we find all potentially responsible parties,” attorney Tony Buzbee said as part of a class action lawsuit against musician and mogul Sean Combs, known as Diddy or Puff Daddy. There are 120 people, including 25 minors, who accuse the rapper of a series of crimes, such as sexual abuse and exploitation.
Combs is considered the most important character in hip-hop. He tutored Usher and, through his Bad Boy Entertainment label, has worked and collaborated with dozens of stars such as Christina Aguilera and Justin Bieber. Songs like ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ with Faith Evans managed to reach the top Billboard charts of all time.

Due to his influences, his closeness to figures from cinema, politics and the million-dollar parties he organized, those who accuse him point out that it would be the exposure of a network that would drag in other figures of international entertainment. “The biggest secret of the music industry, which was no secret, has been revealed to the world. The wall of silence has been broken and the victims are coming forward,” Buzbee told the press. The lawyer points out that, due to the evidence and testimonies, they feel supported. “They feel the support of their communities. I hope that in this process names of powerful people will come to light, that many very dirty secrets will be revealed.”
Combs is in jail awaiting trial on 11 lawsuits. The lawyers said that, so far, they have received 3,200 calls from alleged victims and that there are cases involving children. “We welcome the authorities, my suspicion is that they did not know about these cases, about these people. The FBI should investigate because they were not aware of it.”
Most of the abuses were committed at the events he organized, the so-called White Parties. In the reports, it was not unusual to see some of Hollywood as guests; Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio appear in photographs in meetings with the rapper. Some events he organized were for altruistic purposes and, in 2004, he hosted the Citizen Change vote party in Bridgehampton, New York.

“The day will come when we give more names than Combs, and there are many names, the list is already long, […] The names will shock them,” the lawyers say, without specifying whether the guests are involved in crimes or if the musician only took advantage of his influences for decades. “In 90% of the cases, these individuals were drugged with these drinks. I encourage you to support the victims so we can continue to hear these voices. “Something like this should never have been allowed in the United States, to drag on for so long.”
