RanchiJharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has won the trust vote in the assembly. He got 45 votes while the opposition did not get a single vote. (Hemant Soren) Soren fiercely attacked the BJP during the discussion on the trust vote proposal. He accused the BJP of misusing central agencies.
Hemant Soren said that BJP has no thinking or agenda. They only have central agencies. Soren also accused BJP of horse-trading of MLAs. He said that after losing the Lok Sabha elections, BJP will now face defeat in the state elections as well. BJP MLAs created a ruckus during Soren’s speech. BJP has termed Soren’s allegations as baseless.
Hemant Soren said that they neither have any thinking nor any agenda. They have central agencies with them. It would be a big thing if even half of the MLAs join hands. They have shown their face in the Lok Sabha elections, now only the state elections are left. Their conspiracy is not going to work. He said that I would like to thank Champai Soren, who fearlessly ran the government and saved the government. These people (BJP) were doing horse-trading.
Hemant Soren faced a trust vote in the assembly after taking oath as the 13th chief minister of Jharkhand on Monday. Earlier on Sunday evening, a meeting of MLAs of the ruling coalition and opposition parties was held to discuss the strategy to win the trust vote. JMM, Congress and RJD extended their support to the Soren government.
