New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been continuously attacking the BJP ever since he came out of jail. Even yesterday, when the discussion of his parents being questioned by the Delhi Police came up, he exploited the issue to the fullest and called PM Modi a dictator.
Now he has said that he will not resign from his post because it will set a precedent and the BJP-led central government will get a free hand to target the Chief Ministers of opposition parties including Mamata Banerjee and M.K. Stalin which will be very dangerous for democracy. Kejriwal has been granted interim bail till June 1 in the money laundering case related to the liquor scam and has been directed to return to Tihar Jail on June 2.

He said that he will approach the court to seek permission to discharge the duties of Delhi Chief Minister from jail. AAP national convenor Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in a money laundering case related to his government’s excise policy. The BJP has been demanding Kejriwal’s resignation from the post of Chief Minister since his arrest.
Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party got 67 seats in the 2015 assembly elections and 62 seats in the 2020 elections. He said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw that AAP cannot be defeated in the Delhi elections, he hatched a conspiracy to arrest me.
