Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the meeting of senior officials on Tuesday that the health department should remain alert to prevent human metapneumovirus (HMPV Virus) or seasonal diseases. Due to severe cold and cold wave, there is a possibility of increase in the number of patients related to cold, cough and respiratory diseases.
CM Yogi directed that patients should get good medical facilities in all government hospitals. Be it testing or availability of medicines, everything should be perfect. The common man should not have to worry. Reviewing the health and medical facilities of the pilgrims in Maha Kumbh, the Chief Minister said that there should be adequate arrangements for treatment in all sectors. Ambulance facility should be available.
In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Yogi said that concrete arrangements should be made to ensure the health safety of the common people during the cold season. He said that cold wave is going on in the entire state. This is the time to be especially cautious regarding the safety of the elderly, children and people suffering from serious diseases. Be it seasonal problems like cold, cough, fever or any other serious disease, all types of patients should get proper medical help.
Chief Minister Yogi said that to provide help to the sick people, the health department team should continuously visit all the sectors and inquire about the condition of the people and if necessary, they should be provided proper medical assistance. Let us tell you that ICMR has confirmed that 6 cases of Human Metapneumo Virus (HMPV Virus), which is spreading rapidly in China, have been found in India. ICMR and the Union Health Ministry have made it clear that there is no need to panic about this virus.
