New Delhi. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the family of 22-year-old Ram Gopal Mishra, who was killed in the Bahraich violence, in Lucknow to know about their condition. The victim’s family had reached Lucknow with local MLA Sureshwar Singh.
Keeping the details of the brutality (Bahraich violence) done to Ram Gopal, the family is demanding strictest action against the culprits. The wife of the deceased says that she will get satisfaction only when revenge is taken with blood. The atmosphere is still tense after the death of a youth in stone pelting and firing during idol immersion in Maharajganj of Mahsi.
However, there has been no news of violence from anywhere on Tuesday. Central Reserve Police Force, PAC, STF commandos and policemen are deployed in the entire area. So far 30 people have been arrested and sent to jail in the Bahraich violence. The footage of CC cameras is being scrutinized. The miscreants are also being identified from the video made during the disturbance. Internet services are still stalled.
The situation went out of control after the death of 22-year-old Ram Gopal Mishra, resident of Rehua Mansoor village, in stone pelting and firing from a house during idol immersion in Maharajganj market of Hardi police station area on Sunday. Idol immersion was stopped at many places in the district. The guerrilla war continued for hours between the police and the miscreants.
