Lucknow. A major accident occurred due to the collapse of a three-storey building in Transport Nagar, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. So far 8 people have died in this accident while about 28 people have been seriously injured. A case has been registered against the building owner Rakesh Singhal in Sarojininagar police station of Lucknow. At present, the work of removing the debris is going on.
Let us tell you that a case has been registered against the building owner Rakesh Singhal, resident of Ashiana, under sections 115(2), 110, 105, 318(4) and 7 of the BNS. Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath reached Lokbandhu Hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured. Sarojininagar police station in-charge said that a case has been registered against the building owner Rakesh Singhal. No one has been arrested yet.
This afternoon, CM Yogi Adityanath visited Lokbandhu Hospital to know the condition of the patients injured due to the building collapse. CM Yogi also talked to the attendants and doctors. During this, BJP MLA from Sarojininagar Rajeshwar Singh, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, DM Suryapal Gangwar and many other officials were present.
It was stated in the complaint that the building was constructed in a very low quality manner. The building was to be rented out, therefore substandard material was used in its construction. The people working there had informed Rakesh Singhal about this several times but the building owner did not even get it repaired. It was alleged that this incident happened because of Rakesh Singhal’s criminal act. A case has been registered in this matter on the complaint of the TP Nagar (Transport Nagar) outpost in-charge.
