LucknowIn the campaign to clear the land of Kukrail river, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) held a meeting with officials of LDA, Irrigation Department, Revenue Department in his office. After the talks with the officials ended in the afternoon, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) ordered to stop further (bulldozer) action regarding the river land.
Now all the buildings identified in Abrar Nagar, Pant Nagar, Rahim Nagar, Indraprastha Nagar, Khurram Nagar will not be demolished. After getting the information of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) banning the bulldozer action, women in Pant Nagar, Khurram Nagar welcomed the decision by ringing the plates. Women also raised slogans in the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi). Women also danced together in happiness. Welcoming the decision of not demolishing the houses, the people of the area have expressed their gratitude to the BJP leaders and the Chief Minister.

The LDA team that reached Abrar Nagar on Tuesday morning has also returned. Additional Secretary Gyanendra from LDA said that after the guidelines received from the Chief Minister’s Office (CM Yogi), the team being sent for bulldozer action has been called back. So far, about eight hundred houses have been identified on the land of Kukrail river. At present, the demolition action has been stopped.
Earlier, prominent leaders of Samajwadi Party and Congress state president Ajay Rai had opposed the demolition of houses (bulldozer) in the name of clearing the land of Kukrail river. Leaders of both the parties had reached Abrar Nagar, Rahim Nagar and shared the grief of the people who were saddened by the news of demolition of houses. After the announcement of the Chief Minister (CM Yogi), the protesting parties have maintained silence after the people got great relief.
